Today, July 30 (Wed), the tvN STORY program "What to Do with Leftovers" featuring Young-ja and Se-ri will showcase Young-ja's PICK "Seoul Landfall New Restaurant Tour with Gold Miss."
The new restaurant tour revealed for the first time by MC Young-ja on "What to Do with Leftovers" features tasting friends Shin Bong-seon, Wax, Park Eun-hye, and Kang Se-jeong, and the appearance of special surprise guests is anticipated, raising excitement. It is reported that Shin Bong-seon, who has a close friendship with MC Young-ja, took the initiative to appear after hearing the food rumors from "What to Do with Leftovers."
Wax, who joined through Shin Bong-seon's suggestion to appear together, is expected to elevate the atmosphere with hit songs "Touch Up" and "Oppa," while being revealed as a well-known "food expert." Additionally, actress Park Eun-hye, who gained popularity for her role in the drama "Jang Geum," and actress Kang Se-jeong from the group Papaya will join in later, showcasing strong friendships with Gold Misses from "Pursuing Old Encounters" season 2. Meanwhile, friendly tasting friends Park Tae-hwan and YouTuber So-young will make surprise appearances to assist the Gold Misses in their dating talk.
The first course features a hot new restaurant that landed in Seoul a month after sweeping through Gwangju. The food at this new restaurant targets not only Shin Bong-seon, who is looking forward to a cheat day at Young-ja's recommended places, but also Wax, who revealed that she normally does not enjoy 육회.
The second restaurant captivates with Sichuan cuisine that feels like it has been transported directly from Sichuan Province, China. The fish dish, Kaoyu, features grilled fish prepared with various secret sauces and is beloved as a representative dish of Sichuan, triggering nostalgia for Park Eun-hye and Kang Se-jeong, who have experience working in China. With its exotic aroma perfectly recreating flavors from the continent, MC Young-ja humorously reacted, saying, "I feel like Empress Dowager."
Meanwhile, the spicy romance talk continues among the Gold Miss cast of "Omanchu." Shin Bong-seon noted it felt strange to see herself dating on television, stating, "I didn't even notice when Kichan oppa was petting my head." In response, Lee Young-ja replied, "If Kichan does that and doesn't take responsibility, that's a problem," prompting bursts of laughter. Following this, a heated discussion ensues among the Gold Misses about whether head-patting constitutes flirting.
Later, regular tasting friend Park Tae-hwan makes his appearance on "What to Do with Leftovers," facing a barrage of questions from the Gold Misses. He not only provides dating advice but also takes good care of his older sisters' meals as the lone male, earning him the title of sweet guy. Especially while expressing his tastes in food, he showers Lee Young-ja with praise, saying, "I keep thinking of Young-ja noona when I don't see her." This creates sweet moments, leading Shin Bong-seon to react, saying, "Tae-hwan has ambitions," eliciting laughter. Furthermore, Park Tae-hwan expressed his preference for older women, mentioning that age doesn't matter and it's fine even if they are over 10 years older, surprising the Gold Misses.
In addition, after seven years of dating, So-young revealed behind-the-scenes of her love story and announced her pregnancy, capturing attention by saying, "I didn't come alone today; I came together with someone."
"What to Do with Leftovers" is a food and talk variety show where all food is consumed, but connections and stories are left behind. With a light-hearted and delicious concept of a one-day restaurant tour that allows guests invited by Lee Young-ja and Park Se-ri to enjoy food, relaxation, and happiness without leftovers, it also adds to the fun with Captain Young-ja and Park Se-ri, who don't know what kind of tasting friend will show up.
The "Seoul Landfall New Restaurant" tour featuring Gold Misses Shin Bong-seon, Wax, Park Eun-hye, and Kang Se-jeong, along with surprise tasting friend Park Tae-hwan and So-young, is set to air today (30th) at 8 p.m. on tvN STORY.
