Singer Kim Hyun-joong shared a photo with Kim Kyu-jong and reminisced about old memories.
On the 28th, Kim Hyun-joong posted several photos on his Instagram along with the caption, "Could it have been during the time we lived at a guesthouse in Geumho-dong? On nights when there was nothing to do with Kyu-jong, we would go to the tteokbokki alley in Sindang-dong and compare about twelve places to find out which tteokbokki was the best."
In the photos, Kim Hyun-joong and Kim Kyu-jong are posing in front of a tteokbokki store. Kim Hyun-joong, sporting a hairstyle with a bridge and wearing sunglasses, along with the casually dressed duo in T-shirts, still boast remarkable visuals that capture attention.
Kim Hyun-joong recalled, "After roaming every night like that, we ultimately concluded that 'Woong Friendship Tteokbokki' was the best for our taste buds, and we became regulars. Back then, there weren't many customers, and there were plenty of empty seats, so we could eat comfortably."
He added, "Now it has become a famous restaurant where you can't eat unless you stand in line. I'm really proud that our taste from 18 years ago has proven to be right."
Meanwhile, Kim Hyun-joong formed the unit Five O One with SS501 members Kim Kyu-jong and Heo Young-saeng. They held a 20th anniversary concert in July, and are currently on a world tour starting with their concert in Seoul.
