Girl group Say My Name has embarked on a new challenge.
Say My Name's Hitomi and Mei will meet fans with the voices of characters from Japanese animation.
Hitomi and Mei have taken on the roles of twin sister cats, newly appearing characters in the Japanese TV animation series 'Pochas,' and are challenging themselves as voice actors.
In particular, Say My Name's 'ShaLala (Japanese Ver)' has been selected as the new theme song and ending theme for 'Pochas,' adding special meaning for fans.
For the first time, Hitomi and Mei, who are challenging themselves as voice actors, said, "I am honored and happy to be doing voice acting, which I wanted to try, and for 'ShaLala' to be the ending theme song as well." They noted, "I hope you warmly watch over us and enjoy both the work and 'ShaLala' together."
'Pochas' is a TV animation series co-developed by Fuji TV and DLE Inc., broadcasting every Tuesday on EXITV.
Meanwhile, Say My Name, set to make their comeback with their first single on the 1st of next month, will meet fans with the summer song 'iLy,' an interpolation of Frankie Valli's 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You.'
Say My Name's first single 'iLy' will be released on Aug. 1 at 6 p.m.
