Singer Kim Jeong-min, who lost his mother, expressed gratitude to those who stayed by his side through the sadness.
On the 30th, Kim Jeong-min stated on his social media account, "Thanks to those who traveled a long way to be with us during my mother's funeral, we were able to complete it safely."
He added, "I apologize to those who may not have received thanks while I was individually expressing my gratitude, but I wanted to send this message of thanks. Thank you again for grieving with us and encouraging us as we remain."
Kim Jeong-min's mother passed away on the 27th, at the age of 94.
Kim Jeong-min revealed in April last year on Channel A's 'Best Friends Documentary: Four-Person Table' that he could not go to Japan with his wife and children to stay by his elderly mother's side, which evoked deep emotion.
Meanwhile, Kim Jeong-min will take the stage to honor his commitment to the audience despite the sorrow of losing his mother. The production company of the musical 'Mamma Mia!' stated that Kim Jeong-min is scheduled to perform on the 30th.
