The original soundtrack (OST) of the Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters (hereafter referred to as KDH) is achieving remarkable success on Billboard's main singles chart, the Hot 100.
According to the latest chart released on the 29th (local time), the main song 'Golden' by the girl group Huntrix has risen two spots to claim the second position. 'Golden', which first entered at 81st earlier this month, has surged up to the brink of the Hot 100's top spot in just three weeks.
In addition, a total of eight songs from the KDH OST have simultaneously made it onto the Hot 100, proving its global popularity. The boy group competing with Huntrix, Saja Boys, has their song 'Your Idol' at 12th, while Huntrix's 'How It's Done' has settled at 19th.
Moreover, the duet 'Free' by Lumi and Jinwoo is at 30th, and Huntrix's 'What It Sounds Like' is at 31st. The Huntrix version of 'Takedown' is at 39th, while another version is recorded at 76th. Notably, all eight songs have risen in rank from the previous week.
The OST album is also noteworthy. The KDH OST album has recorded a rise of two spots to 3rd on Billboard's main album chart, the Billboard 200. Both the soundtrack and the album are maintaining their positions in Billboard's top ranks, showing signs of longevity.
Meanwhile, KDH, which was released on the 20th of last month, depicts the story of Huntrix saving the world from evil spirits. Immediately after its release, it soared to the top of the global Netflix film category, achieving success in both content and music.
