Lee Mi-joo, a former member of Lovelyz, revealed episodes from her relationship with her ex-boyfriend.
On the 29th, SBS's "Shoe-less Single Man" featured Lee Eun-ji, Park So-hyun, and Lee Mi-joo as guests discussing relationship topics.
On that day, Lee Mi-joo responded to the question, "I heard that you always got dumped in relationships?" with, "That's right. I have never really been the one to end a relationship first. I was usually the one who got dumped."
She added, "Isn't there a sign of breaking up? On KakaoTalk, there's a whole day's worth of messages missing. We barely contacted each other. I thought this was definitely a situation where I could be the one to initiate the breakup, but I just waited until the other person spoke up. They never said they wanted to break up. So, I was mostly the one who got dumped. But that doesn't mean I'm inexperienced. I'm quite skilled at relationships."
She continued, "I'm very good at dating, but I tend to give everything. I'm the type who shares everything, whether I have it or not. For example, if my boyfriend has a team, I would buy hamburgers for all 40 to 50 people and bring cola along."
Upon hearing this, Lee Sang-min sharply asked, "If the team has 40 to 50 people, what should your boyfriend's job be?" and Lee Mi-joo responded, "A long time ago." Kim Joon-ho speculated, "An entertainer," but Lee Mi-joo clarified, "He's not an entertainer."
Kim Joon-ho continued, "Is he an athlete?" and Lee Mi-joo dismissed, "He's not an athlete." Then Kim Joon-ho insisted, "He's a baseball player," and Lee Mi-joo exploded, "He's not a baseball player! He's not an athlete!" making everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, when Lee Mi-joo asked if she ever met a guy who was obsessive and controlling to the point of not letting her go outside, she replied, "Yes, the obsession was so severe that it was natural I couldn't go outside, and he wouldn't let me go to the gym. He even disliked it when a male trainer touched me during personal training. Additionally, he didn't want me to get a driver's license. He was afraid I would go somewhere with the car. Even when I was at home, I had to keep video calls on and couldn't do other tasks."
Lee Sang-min shook his head, saying, "If this happens, you can't date," to which Lee Mi-joo replied, "That's why we broke up after a few months." Tak Jae-hoon asked, "So did you do nothing that the guy disliked?" and Lee Mi-joo responded, "I didn't. I said I wouldn't drink, but he told me to prove it, so I sent him a screenshot from the kiosk, and he accused me of taking a picture from another table."
Hearing this, Lee Eun-ji emphasized, "You shouldn't do that," and Lee Mi-joo shared, "The more I didn't do what he asked, the more it intensified."
On another note, Lee Mi-joo began a public relationship with soccer player Song Bum-keun in April last year but reported their breakup in January this year. Amidst this, on the 25th, she was involved in dating rumors with Lee Jin-young, a baseball player from Hanwha Eagles, but her agency Antenna stated, "The rumors are completely unfounded," adding, "They don't know each other at all."
