On the afternoon of the 29th, a production presentation for Channel A's new weekend drama "My lovely journey" took place at the Shocking K-Pop Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event featured actors Gong Seung-yeon, Yoo Jun-sang, Kim Jae-young, Hong Soo-hyun, Oh Hyun-jung, and director Kang Sol, who engaged in discussions.
My lovely journey is based on the novel of the same name by author Harada Maho and portrays the journey of an idol-turned-travel reporter who has never been in the center of her life, as she takes on commissioned trips and realizes the true meaning of success and life, making it a genuine healing trip emotional drama.
Earlier, My lovely journey had caught attention by announcing the news of its season two even before the first broadcast. When asked about the confirmation of season two production, director Kang Sol noted, "The production company and actors are somewhat preparing for (season two)."
However, she added, "All dramas are dependent on the success of the previous season. First of all, I hope (season one) does well," and indicated that "the romance between Gong Seung-yeon and Kim Jae-young will begin in season one and develop a clear romance line in season two."
Meanwhile, My lovely journey is set to premiere on August 2 at 9:20 p.m.
