Broadcaster Kim Gyeong-hwa reported on the recovery status of her eldest daughter after surgery.
On the 28th, Kim Gyeong-hwa posted a lengthy message on her social account, saying, "Many people are worried and praying for me, so I am recovering at a rapid pace. Thank you."
She said, "During my time in the ward, it was very hard due to pain, but my child finds comfort in eating, so I often had delivery food in addition to hospital meals. It felt a bit wrong to give delivery food to a patient, but there was only one day of restricted food, and she kept saying that her mouth tasted of antibiotics and painkillers, which made me feel a bit bad. Sometimes I ordered delivery from nearby restaurants, and that became a small comfort for her."
She continued, "In the distant future, these will ultimately become memories. Every day, I tied her hair differently, helped her wash her face with a towel like playing with a baby, made her walk in the hallway every hour, and in the evening, I said we'd do spa activities like giving her a full-body massage and a facial pack. I wonder when else I would get to do this."
She also honestly shared, "Right after the surgery, the arm that had the surgery was very swollen, so I brought a swelling tea that I had forgotten about and took it twice daily, massaged it, and walked, and the effect was not bad. Since being home, I manage the swelling once a day with pumpkin porridge, but since it's summer, I feel like I'm getting swollen too."
The shared photos captured her daughter's daily life in the hospital. Kim Gyeong-hwa wrote affectionately, "Before the surgery, a nurse said braided hair would look good, so I tried braiding her hair. The high ponytail style suits her very well, but she feels shy about it." She also expressed her concern by saying, "Her hand is so swollen..."
Meanwhile, Kim Gyeong-hwa got married in 2002 and has two daughters. On the 4th, she mentioned, "Unexpectedly, during our hospital stay," revealing that her daughter was hurt while exercising and underwent surgery, receiving much support.

Many people are worried and praying for me,
so I am recovering at a rapid pace.
Thank you.

Among the things we ate,
I'll introduce a few items that were good.
Since it was a hospital near Nonhyeon Station,
I sought nearby restaurants...
Right after the surgery, the arm that had the surgery was very swollen,
so I brought a swelling tea that I had forgotten about
and took it twice daily, massaged it, and walked,
and the effect was not bad.
Since being home, I manage the swelling once a day with pumpkin porridge,
but
since it's summer, I feel like I'm getting swollen too?
