'National Flash Tour' has pre-released still cuts that capture the on-site excitement.
On the 29th, the team behind Mnet's idol festival project 'National Flash Tour' raised anticipation for the main broadcast by unveiling stills from a recording featuring TOMORROW X TOGETHER and NCT.
'National Flash Tour' (directed by Jo Hye-mi) is a new entertainment program by Mnet based on the idea that top K-POP idol groups active worldwide will launch in various regions across the country, offering local specialties and performances in a one-plus-one (1+1) format. Each episode features different artists who will appear in different areas to hold surprise pop-ups and actively engage in attracting audiences, heating up the cities.
With a fresh concept of 'my favorite' coming to our neighborhood and a luxurious lineup, 'National Flash Tour' has gained word-of-mouth among K-POP fans, starting with TOMORROW X TOGETHER.
The released stills feature TOMORROW X TOGETHER members who first appeared in Gwangju. The scene of the members interacting with fans while holding one of Gwangju's specialties, zucchini, stands out as a rare sight that can only be seen on 'National Flash Tour.' In addition, the performance captured in the footage adds to the curiosity about the main broadcast, as it turned the entire Gwangju into a vibrant festival.
The next act, NCT's appearance in Andong was also a great success. NCT appeared with the local specialty apple, and both fans and local residents flocked to see them, revealing a hot energy. The steel cut from the performance site, reminiscent of large-scale concerts, further heightens expectations for the broadcast.
'National Flash Tour' goes beyond simply being a performance, aiming to promote regional coexistence, and has received explosive reactions even before airing. Revenue generated from the sale of local specialties is expected to be fully donated for regional development purposes. Various reactions, such as 'Great planning,' 'Promoting local specialties is a good idea,' and 'My favorite idol is promoting local specialties and putting on a performance; this is amazing,' have poured in on various social media and online communities.
Mnet's 'National Flash Tour' will premiere on Tuesday, August 12, at 10 p.m.
