KBS 2TV cultural program "Documentary 3 Days" featuring Andong Station is gaining attention again after 10 years.
This episode aired in the summer of 2015 and recently drew attention due to a brief conversation between a camera director shooting at Andong Station and two female university students.
During the broadcast, the female university student told the director, "Please make the documentary, even in 10 years," and the director responded with a smile, "Will I still be doing this then?" They eventually agreed, saying, "Let's meet here on Aug. 15, 2025."
This scene has recently spread, particularly on social media and online communities, and corporations' accounts like Albamon, Coupang, and KORAIL Retail have reacted to the scene, increasing interest. KBS also released a new video titled "7:48 a.m. at Andong Station, the promise of youth from 10 years ago," on its YouTube channel.
The cinematographer also added resonance by posting on his social media, "After the train left, nine summers have passed, and the tenth day is approaching."
Meanwhile, the former Andong Station, which was the promised meeting place, was transferred to Songhyun-dong in 2020 and is currently operating as an art museum named "Modi684." There are discussions about the exact meeting place, as it has been suggested that it might be demolished soon.
There are expectations about whether their promise made on that summer day 10 years ago can lead to an actual meeting.
