Singer Choi Yena shared behind-the-scenes details about Lee Dohyun's music video grants.
On the 29th, Choi Yena held a showcase for her fourth mini album 'Blooming Wings' at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
In September of last year, Choi Yena, who had impressively showcased her charming and lively appeal through the title track of her third single 'Square', returned to her main career after about 10 months. During that time, she participated in KBS2's 'Villains Everywhere', taking on her first serious role and demonstrating her potential as an actress.
The title track 'I Hate Being Called Nice' is a song where splendid strings and instruments unfold like a midsummer fireworks display. It has an infinitely bright yet somewhat wistful atmosphere, with emotions gradually building, expressed through Choi Yena's unique vocals.
Notably, actor Lee Dohyun appeared in the music video. Lee, who is part of the same agency as Choi Yena, chose to appear in her music video as his first step after military discharge, adding significance to the project.
Choi Yena said about Lee Dohyun's appearance in the music video, "Since we belong to the same agency, I wanted to ask for Lee Dohyun's opinion. At that time, he was serving in the military, but he said yes, and shortly after his discharge, he participated in the music video as his first schedule, for which I was very grateful."
She added, "In my music video, since I appear, I know what it feels like, but when Lee Dohyun appears, it feels like a movie. I really felt the difference. Even while shooting, I had feelings of emotion and gratitude."
Meanwhile, Choi Yena's fourth mini album 'Blooming Wings' will be released on the 29th at 6 p.m. through various music sites.
