Yoon San-ha and Chuu from 'My girlfriend is a manly guy' are drawing keen attention as they head to the scene of 'the dangerous junior's direct advancement.'
The KBS2 new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'My girlfriend is a manly guy' (written by Lee Hae-na, directed by Yoo Kwan-mo, produced by Studio N, Blossom Entertainment, Playground), which premiered on the 23rd, not only climbed to 3rd place in the real-time search on Naver Signal right after its first broadcast but also gained word-of-mouth as a 'smile-inducing drama' after its first airing, achieving the remarkable feat of more than quadrupling the number of visitors to Naver Open Talk compared to before the broadcast.
In the second episode, Park Yoon-jae, whose inner self is his girlfriend Kim Ji-eun, accepts the suggestion from Kim Ji-hoon (Yoo Jung-hoo), who suddenly transforms into a handsome man, to stay friends for a while. However, Park Yoon-jae dispatched after hearing the news that Kim Ji-hoon had collapsed while drinking alone with Lee Min-hyeok (Hyun-jun), and the next day he was shocked to see Kim Ji-hoon transformed into Kim Ji-eun while sleeping next to him.
Related to this, in the third episode to be aired on the 30th, scenes where Yoon San-ha and Chuu become actively entangled are captured, drawing focus. In the drama, during a seminar presentation preparation in the study room, the subtly direct actions of Kang Min-joo (Chuu) are caught on camera. Park Yoon-jae shows a blank expression different from usual, while Kang Min-joo, who has been carefully observing him, peeks out with a bright smile to complete eye contact. It remains to be seen why Park Yoon-jae's expression is dark even though his girlfriend has regained her true self, and whether Kang Min-joo, sensing Park Yoon-jae's unusual condition, can find an opening.
Meanwhile, Yoon San-ha and Chuu showcased their cheerful sides while preparing for the shoot, but as soon as filming began, they shed their playful personas and shone with professionalism. Yoon San-ha maintained his composure even during a scene where he could have easily burst into laughter at Chuu's face attack, and Chuu naturally handled the scene, which required her to add a calm and intellectual image, earning great acclaim from the staff.
The production team stated, 'In the third episode airing on the 30th, the relationships in 'My girlfriend is a manly guy' will expand further,' adding, 'Please look forward to the butterfly effect that will arise from the introduction of a new character played by Chuu, Kang Min-joo.'
Meanwhile, the third episode of KBS2's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'My girlfriend is a manly guy' will air on the 30th at 9:50 p.m.
