The positive influence of artists and fandoms is spreading widely under the name 'Jung Seo-joo.'
Jung Seo-joo, the winner of 'Miss Trot 3,' and her fandom, Dongbunseojoo, donated 10 million won to the National Disaster Relief Association on the 29th for victims affected by the flooding. Following the donation of 10 million won for wildfire recovery in April, they demonstrated their role as 'angels of donation' once again.
Jung Seo-joo and Dongbunseojoo have consistently engaged in donation activities since their debut, but they were particularly moved by the recent flood damage caused by heavy rains. This was mainly because most of the regions they visited while appearing on TV Chosun's 'Wassuda! All Things Truck' were located in Gyeongsangdo. They closely communicated with local residents in Sangju, Haenam, Sancheong, and Hadong, but this sudden downpour led to large-scale damages such as landslides in the Gyeongsangdo area.
Jung Seo-joo and Dongbunseojoo said, "We have gathered our efforts so that the victims who are in despair can rise again," and added, "Although it is a small amount, we hope that our warm hearts reach those who have lost their homes overnight. We sincerely pray that they regain courage and their smiles as soon as possible."
The donation culture among artists and fandoms has become a familiar sight, but the examples of Jung Seo-joo and Dongbunseojoo are on another level. Since their debut, they have consistently and widely exerted positive influence across the country. Not only through monetary donations, but they have also conveyed their heartfelt intentions through singing donations. They are particularly devoted to helping neighbors in difficult situations and sharing warmth by communicating closely.
Jung Seo-joo expressed her heartfelt desire by saying, "It is meaningful to be able to share the great love I have received so far with Dongbunseojoo. I want to continue to be an artist who conveys warm feelings in various places."
