Monsta X's agency Starship Entertainment stated on the 29th, "Currently, IM is undergoing treatment for back pain," explaining IM's health condition.
The agency noted, "According to the medical staff's opinion, treatment and a stable recovery period are necessary, so we have decided to suspend activities for the time being and focus on recovery," adding, "As a result, he will not be able to participate in 'KCON LA 2025' scheduled for August 2, 2025 (Saturday) and other upcoming schedules.
Furthermore, they said, "We will separately inform you whether he will participate in future schedules based on the opinion of the attending physician and IM's recovery status," and "We apologize for the sudden news causing concern, and we ask for your support so that IM can recover healthily and greet you again on stage."
IM previously did not attend the 'Waterbomb Busan 2025' event on the 26th due to health reasons.
At that time, the agency reported that IM had complained of recent back pain, visited the hospital, and received the medical staff's opinion that rest and treatment were necessary, and it was decided to focus on restoring his condition while undergoing treatment and rest.
