The '2025 NOL Festival: SBS Music Awards Summer' has concluded amid the festive atmosphere and will be aired on August 9.
The global K-pop festival '2025 NOL Festival: SBS Music Awards Summer' (hereafter 'Music Awards Summer') brightly adorned summer nights and was successfully concluded on the 26th and 27th amid hot excitement.
During the two-day event, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, i-dle, ITZY, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, STAYC, ENHYPEN, IVE, NMIXX, NCT WISH, ILLIT, BABYMONSTER, izna, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii, ALLDAY PROJECT, Paul Kim, and JANNABI, a total of 31 teams took the stage, exciting global fans.
On the first day of the performance, izna opened with a cover stage of 'Genie,' generating excitement among fans, while ALLDAY PROJECT showcased 'FAMOUS,' demonstrating exceptional stage presence. NCT WISH completed the refreshing summer night with lively performances of 'Listen to My Story' and 'poppop,' and JANNABI left a deep impression on the audience with their unique emotional melodies and lyrical performance in 'FLASH.' Following that, IVE presented an energetic stage with 'REBEL HEART' and surprised fans with a spoiler of their new song, while NCT 127 adorned the splendid finale with powerful performances of 'Gas' and '2 Baddies.'
On the second day of the performance, WOODZ, the icon of reverse trends, made his first stage appearance post-military with 'Drowning,' heating up the atmosphere. KiiiKiii captured the audience's attention by debuting their new song during the 'Music Awards Summer,' while ENHYPEN's Jake, TOMORROW X TOGETHER's Beomgyu, and i-dle's Wooki each delivered uniquely captivating performances of 'Watermelon Sugar,' 'Panic,' and 'Don't Start Now,' offering a different kind of enjoyment to the audience.
Following that, BABYMONSTER showcased a strong presence with 'HOT SAUCE,' while TOMORROW X TOGETHER created a dreamy atmosphere with 'Beautiful Strangers.' Mark presented an explosive performance combining hip-hop and ballet in the '1999' stage, which received a tremendous reaction from the audience, and finally, NCT DREAM concluded their stage with 'BTTF' and 'CHILLER,' making special memories with fans on the summer night.
This year's 'Music Awards Summer' held a festival-style stage called 'UNIPOP,' encompassing all music genres beyond K-pop, which received a warm response with rich performances and experiential content.
In addition to the main performances, the festival-style stage 'UNIPOP' featured the band Touched unveiling their unreleased song 'Ruby,' gaining attention, while Nerd Connection added to the emotional atmosphere with 'Good Night, Sweet Dreams' and 'Just Four Drinks.' Daybreak garnered significant applause from the audience with performances of 'Move Up and Down' and 'Good,' and Cherry Filter enriched the festival's meaning with a special stage of 'Romantic Cat' along with Nam Woo-hyun, Dragon Pony, and YdBB. Additionally, on the OST STAGE, Solar, Sam Kim, Kwon Jin-ah, Na Yoon-kwon, Yoa-ri, Jin Hyo-jung, and Paul Blanco presented emotional performances reinterpretating the beloved songs from SBS dramas, captivating the audience.
Meanwhile, various booths at the festival attracted the audience's foot traffic. In particular, the 'Snack Gayo' booth saw long lines as fans waited to taste signature menu items from SBS's 'Inkigayo,' like heart puffed rice and idol sandwiches, while many fans flocked to diverse experience zones such as the virtual idol 'SKINZ' booth and 'Dalto Playground' to enjoy unique activities. This festival site, filled with various sights and tastes, offered a special experience to fully appreciate the festival's intrinsic charm.
