Movie actor Shin Hyun-jun and Disney+ original series 'Twelve', Taiwanese movie 'The Sadness' actress Regina Lei have been cast in the Korea-Taiwan joint comic investigation romantic action film 'Wanted' (directed by Shin Jae-ho, produced by Line Entertainment, co-produced by HJ Film).
'Wanted' is a comic investigation romantic action film in which the protagonist, who takes an accidental trip to Taiwan, becomes embroiled in an incident where he is mistaken for a wanted criminal. Shin Hyun-jun and Regina Lei are expected to showcase a cross-border romance in this work.
The megaphone is held by director Shin Jae-ho, who is recognized for his solid directing skills in films like 'The Outlaws', 'Extraterritoriality', and 'Gate', and it promises to deliver a unique charm of the new Korea-Taiwan joint film with its stylish comedic direction and fast-paced storytelling.
The film is set to crank in on August 25 in Taichung, Taiwan, and plans to actively capture Taiwan's unique atmosphere and scenery, with over 70% of the filming taking place in Taiwan.
Taiwan's Donggam Entertainment is participating as a co-producing company, aiming to promote cultural exchange between Korea and Taiwan, as well as joint marketing and distribution across Asia.
