"Single's Inferno 7" Ye-won revealed that the immaturity of her past marriage and the shocking remarks of her in-laws caused conflict between her and her mother-in-law, which led to her divorce.
On the afternoon of the 27th, the episode of MBN "Single's Inferno 7" depicted the romantic stories of 10 divorced men and women who flew to the Gold Coast, Australia, in search of remarriage: Do-hyung, Dong-geon, Myung-eun, Sung-woo, Soo-ha, Areum, Ye-won, In-hyung, Ji-woo, and Hee-jong.
Regarding the reason for her divorce, Ye-won said, "I think there were significant immature aspects in my marriage", beginning to elaborate on her reasons for divorce. She then revealed that the conflict with her mother-in-law was serious, stating, "I had depression even before dating my ex-husband, and I found out that my in-laws said I shouldn't date someone with such a mental illness," shocking everyone.
Ye-won calmly confessed that such remarks from her in-laws had caused her great pain. She explained that the psychological difficulties that existed before marriage hindered her marriage life, and particularly, the lack of understanding and blame from her in-laws deepened the conflict with her mother-in-law.

She even added that she continued her marriage while hiding the fact that she married for her ex-husband's career, amplifying the sadness. She expressed that she suffered from "words that caused unbearable wounds" and shared that she had a hard time enduring the verbal abuse from her mother-in-law.
