The Korea Music Label Industry Association (음레협) operates the Kindi Lounge, which conveys the vibrancy of popular music by presenting various genres and concepts of performances in August. From showcases accompanying new song releases to a solo concert commemorating its 10th anniversary, as well as nationwide tours and collaborative performances, it introduces moments where the stage and audience breathe together.
On July 29 (Tuesday) at 8 p.m., at the YES24 Wonder Rock Hall, there will be a fan showcase for the Antenna-affiliated band Dragon Pony's "Earth Boy." This showcase will be held in conjunction with the release of the digital single "Earth Boy," composed by Dragon Pony during their trainee days, with a total of 265 audience members selected through a lottery on Weverse. The new song "Earth Boy" will be released on the same day at 6 p.m. across various music platforms, and it is a piece that delicately addresses loneliness and anxiety, capturing the growth narrative of Dragon Pony.
On August 3 (Sunday) at 6 p.m., at Yeonnam Space, a 10th-anniversary concert for the Apple Jam Music-affiliated band The VANE titled "Monster: THE VANE 10" will take place. This concert is a celebration of the band's journey over the past 10 years, featuring a stage that can be experienced only once with a rougher and more intense sound.
On August 9 (Saturday) at 6 p.m., at Busan Realize, a concert for JMG (Local High Records)-affiliated band ENBUN's tour titled "2025 HIGHTENSION" will be held in Busan. This concert is part of a three-city tour following the Seoul concert on July 27 and preceding the Gwangju concert on August 10. It is planned as a standing concert that breaks down the boundaries between the audience and the stage, showcasing the unique overflowing energy of ENBUN in the summer.
On August 15 (Friday) at 5 p.m., at Hongdae Rolling Hall, a collaborative performance titled "0815 FRIDAY" featuring singer-songwriter Andayang from Magic Strawberry Sound and alternative pop duo Marrakech will take place. Andayang recently completed a solo concert celebrating the release of her second full-length album "WHERE IS MY FRIEND?", while Marrakech will debut all tracks from their new EP, released for the first time in about a year, during this concert. This marks the first collaboration stage between two artists from different genres, generating high expectations.
Meanwhile, the Korea Music Label Industry Association operating the Kindi Lounge is set to launch a small-scale popular music performance support project called "LALALAON" starting this August. "LALALAON" aims to provide practical stage opportunities for venues and indie artists nationwide, promoting both the diversity of popular music and the revitalization of regional music culture. A total of 150 teams will participate in "LALALAON" across 50 small-scale performance venues nationwide, with the lineup to be announced sequentially in the future.
