Vocalist Kim Tae-hyun of the band Dickpunks and actress and model Choi Yeon-soo, the daughter of chef Choi Hyun-seok, will tie the knot this September after four years of dating.
Kim Tae-hyun was born in 1987, and Choi Yeon-soo was born in 1999, making them a zodiac match. When dating rumors surfaced last November, they acknowledged their relationship, stating they were dating with the premise of marriage, attracting public attention.
In particular, Choi Yeon-soo's past declarations of being a fan of Dickpunks on social media drew more interest in their special bond that progressed from fan to lover.
Kim Tae-hyun appeared on a radio program and said, "Chef Choi Hyun-seok came to the performance and mentioned that his daughter is a fan. Over time, when I was serving in the military, I realized we had many mutual acquaintances, and we started to meet up and that's how it happened." He revealed the behind-the-scenes of their meeting. Additionally, Kim Tae-hyun stated, "Originally, she wasn't my fan but was a fan of Kim Jae-hyung. I think I was the one who first suggested we date. It's quite embarrassing. At that time, Kim Tae-hyun and Choi Yeon-soo, who had mentioned plans to marry by the end of next year, individually announced their September wedding through their social media on the 27th and revealed wedding photos.
