Click B leader Kim Tae-hyung is stepping onto an official stage after a long time. He has been confirmed as a singer who will grace the closing ceremony of the event for products made by people with disabilities, alongside singer Kim Wan-sun, and is expected to further enhance the event.
The Korea Association of Rehabilitation Facilities for People with Disabilities noted, "We were so pleased to hear that Kim Tae-hyung, who provided significant support through his talent donation at Seoul Cheonggye Plaza, is participating again. This was the first case of greatly promoting and marketing the centers for products made by people with disabilities, which no one else has visited. We also look forward to Kim Tae-hyung's active role this time."
This fair, held as a method of promoting the Special Act on the Preferential Purchase of Products Made by Persons with Severe Disabilities in accordance with Article 58 of the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Special Purchase Act"), aims to support the sale of products produced at facilities for persons with severe disabilities and provide income generation and stable employment opportunities for workers with disabilities. Following the first fair last year, the second fair for products made by people with disabilities is expected to focus more thoroughly on the marketing of products from each center.
Excluding the term products made by people with disabilities, the products are competitive in the market; however, due to the lack of public promotion or marketing, it has been difficult to achieve consolidation with the public. Therefore, a breakthrough has been sought through active promotion and marketing.
Led by the Korea Association of Rehabilitation Facilities for Persons with Disabilities under the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Kim Seo-yeon and Noh Yu-ok planned the event with realistic measures to help the public enjoy shopping and improve their perception of products made by people with disabilities, and as a first step, invited national singer Kim Wan-sun to prepare a splendid closing ceremony. This was followed by the confirmation of Kim Tae-hyung, who decided to participate for the second time, adding weight to the event.
The "2nd Fair for Products Made by Persons with Disabilities," starting at 10 a.m. on September 9 at the Yangjae-dong AT Center, will continue until September 10, with free admission and approximately 90 booths featuring a variety of products.
