DJ Soda confessed that he lost more than 90% of his hair due to severe scalp damage during a bleaching treatment, shocking many. He conveyed his painful feelings, stating, 'It seems like there is not even 10% of my entire hair left now.'
On the 27th, DJ Soda shared a long message about his feelings along with a video showing the current state of his hair on his Instagram following the bleaching incident. The photo contained a shocking image of his clearly visible black scalp and a few strands of hair hanging down miserably, which caused great shock among his fans.
He noted, 'My friends were really surprised by how much hair I had; it was thick and strong. I've never seen anyone with more hair than me in my life.' He added, 'But I never imagined that I would lose this much hair.'
DJ Soda had been receiving bleaching treatments since late 2021, but recently he received a suggestion for a style change from the owner of a beauty salon and proceeded with the treatment. He expressed, 'I let it go without much thought. But I had no idea it would be damaged this much. I've never heard of such cases of bleaching damage.'
What's even more unfortunate is the attitude of the beauty salon after the incident. DJ Soda revealed, 'Without a sincere apology or acknowledgment of the facts, they rather told me to remove my posts, saying, 'Your hair turned out well.' He added, 'Up until now, there hasn't been a single word of apology, and they continue to upload new profile pictures as if nothing happened,' expressing his bitter feelings.
In response to some internet users raising suspicions about whether he was trying to file a lawsuit or receive money, he said, 'What would I do with money from those people? I just wanted to receive a sincere apology.'
DJ Soda clarified, 'People who have suffered the same damage are asking me, 'Is it the same beauty salon?' but I'm at a different place,' emphasizing that he is not associated with a video impersonating a bleaching victim.
Finally, he said, 'I am still feeling depressed and having a hard time, but I am managing thanks to you all,' sending his heartfelt thanks to his fans.
Meanwhile, DJ Soda is an active global DJ in Asia, Europe, and the United States, loved for his unique presence and style.

Everyone, here is my update.
My hair keeps breaking off, and now it seems like I only have about 10% of my hair left. Some people say I look like an abused puppy… I don't know why that resonates with me so much.
I originally had so much hair that it surprised my friends, and my hair was thick and strong like a broom. Honestly, I had never seen anyone with more hair than me in my life. But I truly never imagined that I would lose this much hair.
I feel so sad, and my heart is breaking.
Since the end of 2021, I have just been dyeing my hair brown and lightly touching up my roots. But one day, the salon owner suggested that I change my style and recommended bleaching, and I went for it without much thought. But… I have never seen or heard of someone whose hair was damaged this much from bleaching! Have any of you seen someone whose hair suffered this seriously after bleaching?
Recently, strange rumors have been circulating that 'I am involved in a hundred million won lawsuit.' What would I do with money from those people…
I will just get back up on my own.
Finally, I offered them a chance to apologize sincerely and acknowledge their mistakes, saying I would not accept even a cent. But up until now, there has been no genuine apology, just lies claiming it didn't happen, and only a request to remove posts saying, 'Didn't you say your hair turned out well?' on the day of the treatment.
Everyone… what should I do? I am still feeling so depressed, but they have even taken new profile pictures. The designer has not apologized to me even once and continues to post new profile pictures as if nothing happened. Seeing that breaks my heart.
Many have asked me if I went to the same beauty salon as Lee Heung-na, who has been posting about bleaching damage recently, but I am not at the same salon as her.
Now, even strangers I meet on the street ask if I'm okay. Thank you so much for your concern and support. Thanks to you all, I am still managing to hold on. I'm sincerely grateful.
