'SNS trending creators' are coming together as I.MET.U.
New media entertainment startup PiCORPORATION announced on the 28th that I.MET.U will debut with a single release scheduled for October.
This new album is a special project for fans who have long awaited I.MET.U's debut since the end of the TikTok girl group survival show 'Time Turner' aired last year. In particular, I.MET.U will hold a group live 'build for u' on TikTok's official channel from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. (Korea time) on the 28th to communicate directly with fans before their pre-debut.
I.MET.U is the final debut team of 'Time Turner', with the name derived from the letters IME TU, excluding the letters T and R from 'Time Turner (TIME TURNER)'. The group consists of a total of four members: Kelly, Yerin, Leah, and Cleo, embarking on their journey as 'Criterainers'.
'Criterainer' is a neologism that combines Creator and Entertainer, referring to artists who plan their own content and interact with fans in various ways. All members of I.MET.U are showcasing the figure of a 'Criterainer' through their active engagements, including Kelly and Leah, who each have 7 million and 5 million SNS followers. The group's differentiated approach, leading not just as artists but also in content planning and fan communication, is drawing attention.
Meanwhile, I.MET.U is set to release their pre-debut song in October and is preparing for their official debut in the first half of 2026.
