In the television show 'Gourmet with Heo Young-man', singer Young-tak mentioned his father, who has been battling a cerebral infarction for 10 years.
On the 27th, the broadcast of TV Chosun's 'Gourmet with Heo Young-man' featured Young-tak, who is at the forefront of trot, as he headed to Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, known for its beautiful golden sunsets.
Upon seeing Heo Young-man, Young-tak remarked, "You are really handsome, sir," creating a warm atmosphere with his unique charm. In response, Heo Young-man smiled at Young-tak's compliment, bringing laughter.
Then Heo Young-man mentioned that the west coast specialty products, such as octopus, clams, and crabs, are famous, to which Young-tak jokingly said, "I haven't eaten since last night." Upon hearing this, Heo Young-man playfully said he would send rice and asked for Young-tak's address.
Regarding his daily activities, Young-tak stated, "In the second half of the year, it's album activities and a nationwide concert tour. In the first half, it's YouTube and creative work. I write songs and exercise as well. I have almost completed all of my songs," showcasing his versatile talents.
Young-tak mentioned, "My father has been ill for 10 years. He feels discomfort on his left side due to a cerebral infarction." He reminisced about memories with his father, saying, "I often went out with my father. My father is affectionate, while my mother is strict as a knife."
When asked if he had written a song thinking of his parents, Young-tak replied, "I once sang a song that included what my father said to my mother," mentioning his song about a wife and singing it directly.
