Actor Yoon Ki-won shared his recent news about establishing a new family with his son after remarrying.

On that day in 2023, Yoon Ki-won, who remarried a woman 11 years younger, said, "You should try it twice; it's good," and shared his marriage story with his characteristic cheerful talk. He recalled, "I met my wife through an introduction around February 22. After meeting three or four times, I started to seriously consider marriage."
Yoon Ki-won noted, "When we met about 3 to 4 times, my wife mentioned that she had previously been divorced, and after meeting a few more times, she revealed that she had a son," adding, "At that time, the son was in the 4th grade of elementary school. I thanked her for being honest about that early on."
He continued, "If she had mentioned such facts after meeting for more than six months, it could have been a problem. I thanked her for telling me that quickly. And about a month later, her father passed away. During those two days, I naturally introduced her to my family."
The two decided to get married after about a year of dating, and Yoon Ki-won's wife's son is currently living with him. He said, "At that time, the child was with his maternal grandparents, but after the marriage, I was told to bring him over," adding, "Currently, we are in the process of a legal adoption. It is reportedly not easy to get approval for the legal adoption process. Changing the surname will be quite easy once the adoption procedure is complete."
Meanwhile, Yoon Ki-won was married to actress Hwang Eun-jung in 2012 but divorced in 2017, and he remarried a woman 11 years his junior last year.
