The sad story of how Park Seo-jin's younger sister could not have a first birthday party has been revealed.
The KBS 2TV entertainment program "Mr. House Husband Season 2," which aired on the 26th, depicted a birthday party for Park Seo-jin's sister.
Park Seo-jin's sister, Park Hyo-jung, was approaching her birthday. Therefore, the family living in Samcheok all gathered in Seoul. Park Hyo-jung was looking forward to her birthday party but showed a disappointed expression when the family mentioned they had filming.
Park Hyo-jung bought a cake alone and sat on a bench to celebrate her birthday. She wanted to light the candles and make a wish, but the candles kept going out multiple times, greatly upsetting her. Nevertheless, she amused everyone by eating the whole cake by herself.
Meanwhile, Park Seo-jin said, "My sister made a wish for someone to celebrate her birthday. This time, I planned a surprise for her birthday." Park Seo-jin noted, "Park Hyo-jung is the youngest among us. I prepared a young party and a cruise. A buffet was also prepared."
The family explained that they could not hold Park Hyo-jung's first birthday party in the past, and Park Seo-jin explained, "We had everything ready for the first birthday party, but our grandmother passed away. So we distributed the meat we had prepared to the neighborhood and held a funeral instead of the first birthday party."
Later, Park Hyo-jung appeared on the cruise, and the surprise birthday party began. An English teacher who Park Hyo-jung had once admired played the piano and sang for her. The family gave Park Hyo-jung a first birthday party after 27 years. Park Seo-jin's father expressed his remorse, saying, "There were two days left, but my grandmother suddenly passed away. So we couldn't hold the first birthday party. I cried inside. We held a first birthday party after 27 years. It really weighed on my heart."
