Netflix's "Trigger" made its global ranking debut just one day after its release.
According to FlixPatrol, a global OTT viewing ranking site announced on the 27th (Sunday), the Netflix original series "Trigger" ranked among the global series TOP 10 and entered the TOP 10 in 29 countries worldwide.
It secured the top spot in Korea, and it has also gained popularity in various other countries including Brazil, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
The Netflix series "Trigger" is a gun disaster action thriller depicting the story of two men who take up arms for their own reasons amidst a backdrop of illegal guns being delivered from unknown sources and constant gun incidents in Korea. All ten episodes were released on the 25th.
In a country like Korea, where firearms are illegal, it has received much praise for its fresh concept of guns being delivered through everyday "delivery" and for showcasing the unique presence of Kim Nam-gil and Kim Young-kwang in the action thriller genre.
