Shinwa's Lee Min-woo has overcome the pain of a 2.6 billion won fraud and shared good news.
On the 25th, Lee Min-woo posted a handwritten letter on his social media, directly announcing his marriage to fans. He said, "Today, I picked up the pen to share something I want to tell Shinwa Changjo first," and added, "After going through various situations recently, I reflected on the meaning of family, and after confirming the precious bond and each other's feelings, we decided to become a family."

However, this marriage news is more than just a simple joy. In 2019, Lee Min-woo was reported for allegedly forcibly kissing a woman in her twenties by grabbing her cheeks at a bar in Gangnam, Seoul. At that time, his agency explained that it was a "happening that occurred during a drinking party at a food stall," and misunderstandings between the parties were resolved, and ultimately, Lee Min-woo received a non-indictment ruling.
But immediately after that, something even more shocking happened. He fell victim to a fraud of 2.6 billion won by being deceived by a long-time friend and sister's acquaintance, Mr. A, who claimed to have connections within the prosecution. The first and second trial courts sentenced Mr. A to 9 years in prison and ordered the return of 2.6 billion won, and the case is currently under retrial at the Seoul High Court due to a Supreme Court remand.
Not only did he suffer financial damage, but mental and physical pain also followed. In March, Lee Min-woo revealed, "I have been experiencing facial paralysis and Bell's palsy symptoms due to severe stress," and added, "I have been receiving treatment for years while missing the golden time."
