Singer Lee Hyori visited an animal shelter during the heat wave to volunteer.
On the 26th, Lee posted several photos along with the message, "You all are amazing, I'm really proud of you in this heat, stay strong."
The published photos show Lee in her bare face with no makeup, wearing gloves while visiting the animal shelter. She embarked on volunteer activities for the dogs despite the scorching heat nearing 40 degrees, and left a photo of her donations saying, "Thank you for sponsoring with cool stones so that dogs can lie down comfortably." The animal shelter also shared a photo of Lee washing the dishes, stating, "Our all-time Hyori who rushed over with cool stones because the kids were hot."
Lee performed volunteer activities for the dogs instead of taking a vacation during the peak heat period from late July to early August.
Additionally, Lee and her husband, Lee Sang-soon, donated 2 tons of feed to the animal shelter and 3 tons of feed to the Jeju animal shelter. Furthermore, the couple recently donated 200 million won to the Beautiful Foundation to support young people preparing for independence.
