Lee Kyung-taek's wife shared the story of how she became pregnant with their second child.
The MBN program 'Talk Show Dongchimi,' aired on the 26th, was held as a special feature on international couples, discussing the theme 'You and I can't communicate.'
Currently pregnant with their second child, Lee Kyung-taek's wife said, 'I had no thoughts of marriage or getting pregnant. I originally wanted to go out, work, meet people, and have an active mindset.'
'Moreover, my husband insisted we must have a second child. At some point, I felt so sad that I cried. (So) I set an unreasonable condition. We were living in a semi-basement, and I said I would have a second child if we bought a house. I aimed for 35 years old. Surprisingly, I won the housing lottery at 34. Given my age, I thought I wouldn't be able to get pregnant. But I became pregnant right away,' she explained.
On the other hand, Lee Kyung-taek also expressed his frustrations arising from cultural differences. He said, 'I still can't eat Russian food. It's greasy. They even put mayonnaise in ramen. When I first visited my mother-in-law, she prepared a lot of food for me. I almost died. My wife took me to a hamburger place, but the burgers were greasy too. In the early days of our marriage, my wife only ate bread for breakfast. I purposely took her to a rice soup place for breakfast. From then on, she started eating rice.'
