Following singer Kwon Eun-bi, group MONSTA X member IM will also not participate in 'Water Bomb Busan 2025.'
Starship Entertainment announced on the 25th, "IM will unfortunately be absent from 'Water Bomb Busan 2025' scheduled for the 26th."
According to Starship, IM recently complained of back pain and visited the hospital, where medical professionals advised that rest and treatment are necessary. As a result, IM decided to focus on recovery while undergoing treatment and rest.
Starship stated, "This decision prioritizes the health of our artists, and we ask for the understanding of fans. We will do our best to ensure that IM recovers quickly."
'Water Bomb 2025' also announced on its official website, "Due to health reasons, Kwon Eun-bi and MONSTA X's IM will unfortunately not be able to perform on stage for 'Water Bomb Busan 2025.' Despite the artist's willingness and the efforts of the organizers, we received the opinion from medical professionals that absolute rest is necessary, and therefore they will not participate in this stage."
It added, "We ask for the audience's deep understanding, and we hope you will support us warmly."
Meanwhile, IM recently performed for MONSTA X's 10th anniversary concert and is set to make a comeback on Sept. 1.
