The band Dragon Pony sings another coming-of-age story.
Dragon Pony (Oh Tae-kyu, Pyeon Seong-hyeon, Kwon Se-hyeok, Ko Gang-hoon) posted a mood film featuring Ko Gang-hoon for their digital single "Earth Boy" through their official SNS on the 25th.
In the released video, Ko Gang-hoon is sitting on a railing, pushing back his hair as if feeling frustrated. His empty expression, as if his heart is void, catches the eye. Together with this, Ko Gang-hoon adds to the immersion with the narration, "If I think deeply, it's scary. I just want to live like this."
"Earth Boy" is an original song written by Dragon Pony during their trainee days. Like an airship that has lost its signal and strayed off course, it captures the inner turmoil of wandering youth. The lyrics straightforwardly express loneliness and confusion amid repeated despair, plunging deeper into each listener's emotions. Instead of offering vague comfort, Dragon Pony anticipates a more solid tomorrow for youth, stepping forward to face their feelings of powerlessness.
Dragon Pony's digital single "Earth Boy" will be released on the 29th at 6 p.m. through various music sites.
