The production team of 'Immortal Songs' will present a special broadcast in memory of the late Song Hae.
Today (26th), the KBS 2TV entertainment program 'Immortal Songs' (abbreviated as 'Immortal') will feature a special broadcast titled 'Song Hae Music Festival Special'.
'Immortal' has been KBS's flagship music entertainment program that has ranked first in viewership ratings for nearly 14 years. It recently recorded a nationwide rating of 6.1% based on the most recent broadcast, episode 715, maintaining the number one spot for 127 weeks and firmly holding the Saturday entertainment throne.
Among this, the 'Immortal' team has attracted attention by announcing today the special broadcast 'Immortal Songs - Song Hae Music Festival Special'. This special features six stars, including Lim Young-woong, Yang Tak, Lee Chan-won, Jung Dong-won, Jang Min-ho, and Kim Hee-jae, who formed a bond with the deceased during their unnamed days through 'National Singing Contest'. The broadcast achieved a rating of 13.3% during its airing, garnering heated discussion.
Additionally, this special holds even more significance as it allows viewers to reconnect with the deceased's life. The special episode of 'Immortal' was originally planned for the 19th, but it was rescheduled due to damage from heavy rain during the recording of the 'Rock Festival in Ulsan' special. The production team of 'Immortal' has come together with the contestants to keep their promise to the citizens of Ulsan and viewers, and they are moving forward with the Ulsan special recording again on the 27th. The postponed Ulsan special of 'Immortal' is set to air consecutively on August 2 and 9.
