YouTuber and broadcaster Poong-ja revealed how she became close with Nana. After receiving a DM from Nana, she shared an episode saying, "I was surprised, thinking it was a voice phishing attempt."
On the afternoon of the 25th, a new content titled "We have the original Poong-dang here! Nana & Poong-ja destiny story" was released on Poong-ja's YouTube channel 'Poong-ja TV.' This content featured Nana, who is a close friend of Poong-ja and a member of the group After School.
Poong-ja opened up by saying, "I think many people know that I'm close with Nana. There are people curious about why Nana and I are close."
In response, Nana explained, "I have always been a huge fan of my sister, so I watched all her broadcasts. When she shared her stories, I felt that she was a true person. I really courageously sent a DM saying, 'I'm watching and healing from it,' and she replied to me," expressing her affection for Poong-ja.
Poong-ja candidly shared about that time, saying, "I thought it was a voice phishing attempt. I have always liked Nana genuinely, regardless of age or gender, and I was surprised to receive a message from her."
However, even after that, Poong-ja and Nana did not manage to find an opportunity to meet despite saying 'let's meet once.' They first encountered each other by chance on a plane, which began their relationship. Poong-ja explained the meeting process: "I met (Nana) on the plane. It was during a family trip. I was taking pictures on my phone to airdrop them to my younger sibling when suddenly someone next to me said, 'Is Poong-ja unnie here?' So I thought it was just a fan and responded, 'What is this?' Then I heard, 'It seems like Poong-ja unnie is here.' Nana had turned on airdrop, and when my name appeared, we ended up recognizing each other."
Later, as time passed, they met again by chance at a bar and became closer. Nana added, "And since this is also a fateful occurrence, let's meet. I said to her, 'Have a good family trip,' and then I didn't see her for a while. Then suddenly, I encountered her again at a bar."
Poong-ja mentioned, "At that bar, we were each at our own tables, but Nana was there. So I suggested, 'Let's join tables.' Only the two of us knew each other, but we joined tables together, and that's when we became close. We also ate and went to a cafe together, and so on," adding, "In fact, Nana and I communicated really well. She is very serious and not superficial."
Nana also remarked, "My sister is serious too. She is bright but doesn't talk a lot. She is very quiet and very feminine. It was surprisingly so."
