In "My Kid's Private Life," Yeonwoo and her friends share their honest concerns.
In the 31st episode of the ENA Sunday entertainment program "My Kid's Private Life" (hereafter "My Life"), which airs on July 27, the story of "Dodo Friends" Yeonwoo, Hayoung, Jaewon, Yeha, and Seonha going on an active friendship trip in Hong Kong is featured.
That day in the studio, Jang Yoonjung shares updates about Yeonwoo and Hayoung, noting that "Last year Yeonwoo attended the gifted camp in the United States by herself, but this time Hayoung is also participating," which surprised everyone. Dokyungwan, who was in the United States with the kids, revealed that he returned only for the "My Life" recording, stating, "I arrived early this morning. After finishing the recording, I have to go back to the airport," drawing attention with his idol-like schedule.
The VCR starts with the kids searching for their accommodation in Hong Kong. The kids are surprised by the smaller and shabby accommodation than they expected. However, there was a bigger problem. Yeha's suitcase wouldn't open. In response, Yeonwoo decides to borrow a hammer to attempt to break open the suitcase. The curious situation arises as 'Dor (Yeonwoo + Thor)' Yeonwoo ends up hammering in the middle of the night.
The next day, the kids head to Hong Kong's iconic amusement park, "D Land." However, upon arrival, they are disappointed by the sudden rain, exclaiming, "It's a rainy day to go out," but they soon enjoy the amusement park despite the rain. At that moment, Yeonwoo, who is afraid of roller coasters, experiences humiliation by spending time below with her younger siblings while her friends ride the attractions. Eventually, Yeonwoo gathers her courage and gets on the roller coaster, enjoying the wind, capturing the attention of Jang Yoonjung and Dokyungwan. Curiosity grows about which roller coaster Yeonwoo chose.
After having fun at the amusement park, the kids visit a massage shop to soothe their tired bodies. Unlike the older siblings who scream in pain, Hayoung and Seonha surprisingly enjoy their massage with ease, bringing laughter. During the subsequent healing time, the kids candidly share their worries, engaging in honest conversations.
In particular, Yeonwoo expresses, "I want to do well, but my body doesn't cooperate," revealing her deep feelings, which touches the parents' hearts. The sincerity of the kids that the adults were unaware of, along with their unexpectedly mature mindset, fills the studio with warm emotions.
Meanwhile, the humorous and healing travelogue of "Dodo Friends" can be seen in the ENA Sunday entertainment program "My Kid's Private Life," airing at 7:50 p.m. on the 27th.
