Stills of Lim Yoona and Sung Dong-il as a father and daughter in the movie "Pretty Crazy" have been captured.
On the 25th, the production team of the movie "Pretty Crazy" (directed by Lee Sang-geun, distributed by CJ ENM, produced by Ouyun Naegang) released stills featuring a two-shot of Lim Yoona and Sung Dong-il.
"Pretty Crazy" is a devil-infused comedy film that depicts the struggles of a young unemployed man, Gilgu (Ahn Bo-hyun), who becomes embroiled in a bizarre part-time job monitoring Seonji (Lim Yoona), who wakes up as a devil every dawn.
In the released stills, one can see Jang-soo (Sung Dong-il) consistently by the side of the curly-haired devil Seonji (Lim Yoona). At first glance, it appears to be a warm father-daughter moment, but Jang-soo's expression, seemingly detached, reveals how hard he has struggled to keep Seonji's secret. At the same time, in the last still, Jang-soo's worried gaze toward the devil Seonji hints at his paternal love for his daughter Seonji, and it raises expectations for how their unique synergy will be portrayed on screen.
Lim Yoona, who is following in the lineage of Sung Dong-il's daughters alongside Jeong Eun-ji, Go Ara, and Hyeri from the "Reply" series, expressed her joy, saying, "Since I play the daughter role, it feels good to be included in that lineage. They take such good care of me, and there were many times they spoke to me comfortably, so I enjoyed filming the scenes with my 'dad' even more."
Sung Dong-il praised Lim Yoona, saying, "Not only does she make the atmosphere on set gentle, but she also enjoys the tough shoots without care." In particular, at the production report conference for "Pretty Crazy" on the 9th, he mentioned, "Personally, I find the devil daughter much more attractive," showcasing that Lim Yoona is a strong and unique presence among his daughters.
"Pretty Crazy" will be released in theaters nationwide on August 13.
