As actor Yoo Jin-goo's official SNS account was embroiled in controversy for following an account related to adult content, the agency disclosed its stance.
On the 24th, a representative from Yoo Jin-goo's agency told OSEN, "The account in question is not Yoo Jin-goo's personal account, but an account managed by agency staff," adding, "It has been confirmed that the follow occurred due to a simple mistake. We plan to manage the account to prevent similar incidents from recurring."
Earlier that day, online communities and SNS noted that Yoo Jin-goo's X (formerly Twitter) account had followed an account posting adult content, leading to discussions among some netizens. The account has since been removed from Yoo Jin-goo's following list.
The person operating the account also posted a message along with a capture of the notification saying, "Yoo Jin-goo followed me," and added, "Oh no, it seems like an accidental click."
Meanwhile, Yoo Jin-goo is currently appearing in the Tving original variety show "The Great Escape: The Story," continuing his activities alongside Kang Ho-dong, Yoo Byung-jae, Ko Kyung-pyo, and Baekhyun.
