On the 24th episode of SBS Life's 'The queen of insight, Kim Nam-joo,' Kim Nam-joo supported Kim Seung-woo and had his own baking time.
Kim Nam-joo followed Kim Seung-woo, the president of the Korea Little Baseball Federation. Kim Seung-woo attended the opening of the Little Baseball tournament held in Korea and prepared an encouraging speech as a host.
In that situation, Kim Nam-joo also prepared walnut cookies for the children and was taken aback. The children were technically players, and they were bigger than Kim Nam-joo expected. Kim Nam-joo muttered anxiously, "Walnuts? What can they do after eating that? They should still do well," then complained, "Ah, I'm resentful of my husband. Why didn't he tell me this?" referring to her discontent towards Kim Seung-woo.
Suddenly, Kim Nam-joo mentioned, "My husband and I planned to raise our son to be a baseball player," reflecting on their child-rearing plans discussed even before marriage with Kim Seung-woo. Kim Nam-joo said, "But we had a daughter first. After that, we had a son who doesn't like baseball. Children really don't turn out how I want," shaking her head. Kim Nam-joo's daughter, La-hee, is known to be a genius in the top 1%.
Furthermore, Kim Nam-joo said, "My kids thought their dad was a baseball player when they were little. He was a baseball enthusiast and played in a celebrity baseball team," expressing a hint of regret.
Kim Nam-joo grumbled to Kim Seung-woo, "Why didn't you tell me? It's a little league. They're not kids anymore." With her adorable complaints, Kim Seung-woo smiled silently. He told her about the matchups, saying, "The middle one is the Thailand team. They are a strong team. Korea has to win to go to the U.S."
Kim Nam-joo advised, "Honey, go out and give a short and nice encouraging speech." After a nod of acknowledgment, Kim Seung-woo stepped forward.
Kim Seung-woo delivered the opening remarks, saying, "Congratulations on the opening of the Little Baseball tournament. Various snacks were prepared, including walnut muffins, roasted walnuts, watermelon cut into pieces for ttaengmoran, cute fruit ice cream made from watermelon cut into ice cream molds, and bagels thickly spread with strawberry jam.
That day, the highlight of Kim Nam-joo's content was her trip with Kim Seung-woo. While admiring the hydrangeas in Gangjin, Kim Nam-joo went to eat eel sashimi with Kim Seung-woo.
It was a combination dish made by wrapping eel sashimi in onion and adding various toppings. The onion had been soaked in cold water for a day to remove its spiciness, making it a flavor that even Kim Nam-joo, who is not a big eater, found delightful. Kim Nam-joo suddenly said, "I thought I married The Man from Nowhere," casting a playful glance at Kim Seung-woo, who had been talking about his six meals a day. Then, Kim Nam-joo said, "It's sad that I have to starve to do something for a living," looking glum, which prompted Kim Seung-woo to console her, "Eat up. Let's eat and work."
