The band Dragon Pony raises a voice of empathy representing youth.
Dragon Pony (An Tae-kyu, Pyeon Seong-hyeon, Kwon Se-hyeok, Ko Gang-hun) uploaded a mood film featuring Kwon Se-hyeok from their digital single 'Earth Boy' through their official social media on the 24th.
In the released video, Kwon Se-hyeok walks along a dimly lit alley and leans against a building wall, exhaling a sigh. His appearance, seemingly lost in deep thought, reveals a lonely and melancholic sentiment. In particular, Kwon Se-hyeok's narration, "I envy everything, I regret everything, I hurt everywhere. I just want to be liked," resonated with the plight of our youth placed in a life of recurring anxieties.
'Earth Boy' is an original song that Dragon Pony wrote during their trainee days. Like an airship that has lost its signal and strayed off course, it captures the inner struggles of wandering youth. It is expected to showcase a matured Dragon Pony by delicately and profoundly addressing complex emotions such as loneliness and anxiety.
Dragon Pony's digital single 'Earth Boy' will be released on the 29th at 6 p.m. through various streaming sites.
