The agency of Lee Mi-joo, a former member of the girl group Lovelyz, denied the dating rumors with baseball player Lee Jin-young.
On the afternoon of the 25th, Lee Mi-joo's agency Antenna stated to OSEN, "The dating rumors with Lee Jin-young are groundless, and they do not know each other at all."
Earlier that day, a media outlet reported that Lee Mi-joo was dating Lee Jin-young of the Hanwha Eagles, stating that a couple with a 3-year age difference had been born. It was claimed that Lee Mi-joo and her family are long-time fans of the Hanwha Eagles.
The media also reported that the lighting props that Lee Mi-joo publicly shared through her YouTube channel resembled the lighting in Lee Jin-young's social media, claiming this as evidence of their relationship.
However, Lee Mi-joo's side drew a line, stating, "They do not know each other at all," confirming that the dating rumors with Lee Jin-young are not true.
Previously, Lee Mi-joo had a public relationship with soccer player Song Bum-keun in April of last year and reported their breakup last January.
