Rapper Beenzino's wife and German model Stephanie Michova shared her thoughts on her first screen debut.
On the 23rd, a video titled "Why did Michova suddenly shed tears while on a date with her husband? (stormy tears, Yongsan CGV)" was uploaded to Stephanie Michova's YouTube channel.
On that day, Beenzino mentioned, "Please tell us your thoughts on attending the screening, Ms. Stephanie," announcing that Michova would attend the movie premiere.
Michova said, "I'm so nervous," adding, "I filmed the movie 'Big Deal' two years ago. It was my first acting audition in my life in Korea. I attended acting classes diligently. My acting teacher and I planned to record a self-tape, but suddenly my acting teacher said she wasn't feeling well, so I went to the Seongbin IAP studio to film it there.
He recalled, "So I sent in that audition tape and waited. I kept asking my manager if there was any feedback. I could perform in other roles as well. I really wanted to do this movie. I could do anything as long as I got the chance. Suddenly one day, I was accepted, and I was so happy that I cried. After I was cast, we did a script reading and filmed two months later in Daejeon. It really felt like a dream."
She continued, "This is my first time seeing a movie that I appeared in. I'm curious about how it will be. I waited for about two years, and I've been wondering when it would be released. I hope you all enjoy it as well."
In particular, Michova expressed her concern, saying, "What's a bit scary is that it's my first time watching the movie at the screening. I had one line, what if they cut all my lines? That would be really sad."
He said, "I filmed the movie with Lee Je-hoon. I was a little nervous because it was my first film shoot. While filming, Lee Je-hoon gave me a lot of tips. Because it was double action, I had to repeat the same movements for each line. This was surprisingly difficult. We filmed the table meeting scene for two days, and people were walking here and doing their part, and suddenly it was 'cut, okay'. Starting from that line, we moved through the middle of the scene, and I thought, 'What was I doing then?' I had to remember all of this while shooting. I was really impressed watching the other actors memorize their lines and actions. Everything passed in the blink of an eye. It was an honor to work together."
Prepared, Michova moved to the screening venue with Beenzino. Michova worried, "Why am I trembling like this? It's my first time seeing myself on the big screen. What if I messed up my lines?" Beenzino reassured her, saying, "It's okay. Just being part of this is amazing. This experience is really important."
In response, Michova said, "That's right. This is my first screening, so I have no idea what the atmosphere will be like. It's so..." Beenzino replied, "When you were living in the countryside in Germany as a child, you never imagined that you'd be filming a movie in Korea, right? You've worked hard to be cast and to come to this premiere," showing his understanding of her efforts. Michova then said, "Thank you, darling. I'm really grateful for your support," and her eyes reddened.
After the screening ended, Michova emerged looking somewhat gloomy. Although her face appeared, her one line had been completely cut. Beenzino said, "I'm really proud of you. No matter the outcome, I think you're amazing," trying to console her, but Michova expressed her disappointment, saying, "It truly got edited out. That doesn't make sense."
Beenzino said, "But you looked really beautiful. I could only see you. You did so well," but Michova couldn't hide her gloom as she replied, "I'm a bit sad." Beenzino noted, "It's understandable to feel a bit sad, but there's also joy in it," and Michova admitted, "I really cared about this and worked hard."
Then Beenzino said, "I know how hard you've worked. Still, this was truly a special experience. And this isn't the end. There will surely be better opportunities ahead. You'll definitely achieve that. And next time will go even better. You'll have grown so much more by then. I'm already looking forward to it."
In response, Michova said, "That's right. I really learned a lot. It was a truly great experience. It's okay," trying to pull herself together. On the way home, Beenzino emphasized again, "You looked so beautiful on the screen," and Michova added, "Thank you, darling. It was amazing and fun to see my face on such a big screen. I'm still in disbelief."
