Ku Hye-sun's response was related to an episode about Lee Sang-joon that aired on MBC's 'Radio Star' on the 23rd. Lee Sang-joon recalled his university days at Seoul Institute of the Arts, noting, "I was known for wearing spa clothes, wanting to make people laugh," revealing he was quite a character.
In particular, Lee Sang-joon said, "Since it was Seoul Institute of the Arts, there were many pretty friends who dreamed of becoming actresses. Those friends and seniors wanted to get close to me, and Ku Hye-sun was one of them," adding that Ku Hye-sun approached him first. He continued, "At that time, Ku Hye-sun was the 5th most beautiful person and appeared in a Sung Si-kyung music video, but I didn't know who she was because I hadn't seen it. Later, I wanted to pursue comedy seriously and started a comedy club, and Ku Hye-sun discovered it and came to me, saying she wanted to learn comedy, so I accepted her once I realized who she was."
Lee Sang-joon added, "Other club members would be cut immediately if they were absent or lacked ideas, but Ku Hye-sun is still a member of the club."
Meanwhile, Ku Hye-sun's divorce from Ahn Jae-hyun was legally finalized as of July 2020 after an agreement was reached.
