Actor Lee Jeong-jin from 'Men's Life These Days: Groom's Class' shared serious thoughts on marriage, and Oh Ji-ho provided advice as a senior married man.
In the episode aired on the 23rd, Lee Jeong-jin invited his close friends, Oh Ji-ho and Lee Jong-hyuk, to his second house in Yangpyeong. Lee Jeong-jin introduced them by saying, "I've known Oh Ji-ho since his modeling days, so we've known each other for 25 years. Lee Jong-hyuk played the roles of the head of the group and a student in the film 'Spirit Of Jeet Keun Do - Once Upon A Time In High School' around 20 to 30 years ago. We also play golf together and that shows how close we are.
Lee Jeong-jin said, "They are also brothers who have built happy families. And since I've known them for a long time, I was curious. I invited these particular brothers because I wondered how they got married. I thought there might be a secret to it."
Instead, Oh Ji-ho asked, "Why are you coming on 'Groom's Class'? Are you planning to get married?" Lee Jeong-jin responded, "I have to take the groom class. I need to prepare. It's still late now, but even if I can't do it, I need to prepare. I also need to have kids," revealing his firm goal. Lee Jong-hyuk then asked, "Don't you have kids?" surprising Lee Jeong-jin.
The brothers expressed disbelief, half-joking, saying they thought Lee Jeong-jin would live his life unmarried. Then Oh Ji-ho said, "Seven years ago, I heard about an older actor, Lee Jeong-jin, who hasn't settled down, so I introduced someone to him. What happened after that?" trying to find out about Lee Jeong-jin's dating status. Lee Jeong-jin said, "I did meet someone, but we lost contact," speaking nonchalantly.
Upon hearing this, Lee Da Hae asked, "Did it not sit well with you?" Lee Jeong-jin replied, "I wanted to see her once more, but it didn't seem like it would work out. I thought if I reached out again, it might make Oh Ji-ho uncomfortable," making Shim Jin-hwa and Lee Da Hae feel sorry.
Lee Jeong-jin said, "I don't know much as a groom. Dating and marrying are different, aren't they?" seeking advice from the brothers. Oh Ji-ho replied, "Just because you say it, doesn't mean it will happen," providing a vague answer.
Oh Ji-ho brought up his marriage to Eun Bo-ah, saying, "I originally had no thoughts of marrying, but I felt something indescribable as soon as I met my wife, Eun Bo-ah. I felt that I had to marry her, so I didn't even ask for her contact information. I didn't intend to get familiar with her. However, I thought, 'Let's reach out after a week,'" and added, "My mother-in-law said, 'Don't you think you should get married?' so I wondered if I should, and that's how it started. It all progressed very quickly into marriage," he said.
Lee Da Hae shared, "I also dated for a long time. But one day, I heard that Seven's mother and my mother went to view a wedding hall together. So, I thought, 'Are we really getting married?' From that moment on, we hurriedly started preparing for the wedding," which surprised Lee Jeong-jin.
Hoping to add to the humor, father of multiple children Moon Se-yun said, "I really wanted to get married, that's why I did it."
