Park Na-rae recently mentioned that a moment when she feels happiness is when she watches adult webtoons.
On the 23rd, a new video titled "'Na-rae, I can't talk to you'" was released on the YouTube channel 'Na-rae's Table.' The guests included actors Lee Dong-wook and Park Hoon from the drama The Nice Guy, and they talked together.
On that day, Park Na-rae asked, "What makes you happy these days? What is the most fun?" Lee Dong-wook responded, "Actually, I have nothing particularly fun or happy. These days, it's a continuous struggle. I don't think people can always be joyful and happy while living. I believe there's a cycle, and lately, I've just been enduring from day to day."
Park Na-rae then asked, "What's the reason?" Lee Dong-wook explained, "In terms of my work, a sense of achievement and success seem to be the primary measure of my life's happiness. These days, such opportunities are significantly less than in previous periods. So it's probably just a bit tough. Life is not fun. It's a time of enduring."
When Park Hoon received the same question, he said, "I'm a bit similar but from the opposite side. I have been focusing on myself lately. I realized that I haven't been living much for myself but for my social persona. I thought about how I might have been trying too hard to show a different side of me, to my social self. I want to be honest with myself. I'm taking time for that."
After hearing Park Hoon's story, Lee Dong-wook also asked Park Na-rae, "When are you happy?" Park Na-rae replied, "Me? I always say this: these days, when I watch adult webtoons," to which Park Hoon was surprised and asked, "Huh? Adult webtoons?" He then confirmed, "Do you still need dopamine?"
Lee Dong-wook asked with a smile, "Are the adult webtoons between same-sex or opposite-sex?" Park Na-rae responded, "I read them all. I enjoy all genres, including romance, melodrama, action, and thriller. I like that. When I was young, I used to hate borrowing comics at a rental shop while sneaking glances at my mother, paying 300 won. Now, when I recharge 70,000 won or 100,000 won, I feel the dopamine rush. More than when I watch comics, I think, 'Am I okay?'"
In this regard, Lee Dong-wook agreed, saying, "I thought I would avoid snacks once I reached this age. What nonsense! I spend 200,000 won on snacks at once. That's when I realize while choosing snacks, 'This is the taste of being an adult.'"
