The KBS 2TV new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'My Girlfriend is a Sassy Guy' (written by Lee Hae-na, directed by Yoo Kwan-mo), which aired for the first time on the 23rd, achieved a remarkable feat by ranking 3rd in Naver's real-time search keywords and topping Naver Entertainment's comprehensive short content right after its broadcast, thanks to its sensory visuals, fresh and youthful composition, and the fine acting chemistry of Yoon San-ha, Arin, and Yoo Jung-hoo while incorporating the 'gender change' theme from the original popular Naver webtoon 'My Girlfriend is a Sassy Guy' (by artist Matt Star).
In the first episode, the story unfolds with college couple Park Yoon-jae (played by Yoon San-ha) and Kim Ji-eun (played by Arin) planning a trip, only for Kim Ji-eun to suddenly transform into the handsome Kim Ji-hoon (played by Yoo Jung-hoo), leading to a series of comical situations. Park Yoon-jae finds himself increasingly confused as he senses his girlfriend Kim Ji-eun in the endlessly claiming Kim Ji-hoon, and ultimately approaches Kim Ji-hoon at night, hinting at a kiss by declaring, "Let's try it too. In this context, Yoon San-ha and Arin will showcase the original appearance in the 'Back to the Basics' scene to be broadcast on the 24th (today) in the second episode. The scene includes Park Yoon-jae and Kim Ji-eun creating 'Back to the Basics' together while forming a 'Love You Love You' mode. Park Yoon-jae lovingly gazes at Kim Ji-eun, who is writing the answers, smiling, and Kim Ji-eun responds with a bright smile, sharing a moment of eye contact with Park Yoon-jae.
