Shin Jung-hwan reacted to S.E.S. Shoo's 'gambling' remarks.
On the 21st, the YouTube channel 'Channel Gojeonghae' posted a video titled "This time it's fraud gambling...?!"
In the released video, Shin Jung-hwan mentioned, "Shoo gave an interview and I saw something totally ridiculous. What did she say? She did the same thing and then told me, 'Jung-hwan oppa is different from me.'"
He added, "She openly said that. S.E.S. Shoo is Japanese, so it's legal," expressing disbelief.
Shin Jung-hwan drew attention when, in response to a panelist's question about how he felt, "Why don't you send a video message?" he said, "Of course it's f***ed up. What does she know? Why is she talking about me?"
He also mentioned, "If you're going to do it, you should have included Kang Byung-kyu. Suddenly bringing me up. That was 15 years ago, isn't that a recent version?" He expressed frustration, and Kang Byung-kyu related, "It is indeed absurd. Why bring that up?"
Furthermore, Shin Jung-hwan expressed anger, saying, "And that friend borrowed hundreds of millions of won to gamble and that's how it happened, isn't it? But somehow it's illegal for one person and legal for another, f***. F***. Should I just throw this out there?"
Meanwhile, Shin Jung-hwan has been reflecting on his past following an illegal gambling and overseas gambling incident in 2010. He drew public outrage for his false explanation of 'dengue fever infection' and was sentenced to eight months in prison in 2011.
Shoo has been accused of habitual gambling totaling 790 million won over 26 occasions in Macao and other locations from August 2016 to May 2018, resulting in a six-month prison sentence, two years of probation, and 80 hours of community service. She was also sued for failing to repay gambling debts in the 700 million won range, but that was settled in November 2020.
