KBO legend pitcher Nipper will appear as a special guest for the 'Three Peaks Challenge' project.
On July 24, the 'Welcome, First Time in Korea?' program aired on MBC Every1 will showcase the 'Three Peaks Challenge' prepared with the highest number of production staff in history focusing on the trio from Estonia.
That day's broadcast will feature special guest Dustin Nipper, the 2021 'Three Peaks Challenge' success story.
'Three Peaks Challenge,' first unveiled in 'Welcome, First Time in Korea?,' is a challenge to climb Korea's three highest mountains—Hallasan, Jirisan, and Seoraksan—within 24 hours. After James Hooper and his friends successfully completed it in 2021, it sparked great attention, and now, four years later, the trio from Estonia has made a new challenge. To join that great challenge, Nipper is eagerly stepping up.
The Estonian friends have even declared a record-breaking 23 hours and 38 minutes, which is a 1-minute reduction from the 2021 record, forming a competitive narrative between the 2021 team and the 2025 team. In response, Nipper amusingly accepted the challenge, saying 'fighting,' and reportedly made the studio burst into laughter.
The grand adventure of the Estonian challengers began amid the expectations of the MCs, including Nipper. However, they faced an unexpected obstacle that nearly prevented them from starting the challenge. Even experienced Nipper worried that the challenge seemed impossible. Whether the Estonian friends can miraculously achieve success remains to be seen.
'Three Peaks Challenge 2025' featuring the unprecedented guest Nipper can be seen on Thursday, July 24, at 8:30 p.m. on MBC Every1's 'Welcome, First Time in Korea?'.
