MAMAMOO member Moonbyul has confirmed her comeback.
The agency RBW announced on the 24th that "Moonbyul will release her mini album 'laundri' on August 20. The album expresses Moonbyul's various emotions by comparing them to the process of washing."
Moonbyul's domestic comeback is about one year after the release of her first regular album repackaged 'Starlit of Twinkle: REPACKAGE' in August last year. Notably, the album title 'laundri' was created by replacing the last letter 'y' of the English word 'Laundry' with 'i.' 'laundri' will include the digital single 'ICY BBY' that Moonbyul pre-released in June.
Along with the comeback news, a trailer for the mini album 'laundri' was released via MAMAMOO's official social media. The video ends with someone who appears to be Moonbyul, rummaging through clothes strewn around her room and walking purposefully to start the washing machine, heightening curiosity.
Continuing her music activities as a solo artist, Moonbyul has consistently proven her skills in vocals, rap, and performance while repeatedly attempting fresh musical endeavors, as well as participating in songwriting and composing, creating her distinctive musical world. Moonbyul has also recently showcased her global presence by successfully wrapping up her first solo world tour and hosting solo fan concerts in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.
Moonbyul's mini album 'laundri' will be released on August 20 at 6 p.m. through various music streaming sites.
