Moon Ga-young donated funds for neighbors affected by the flood.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 24th that actress Moon Ga-young donated 10 million won to help victims affected by the heavy rainfall. Hope Bridge is the only legally recognized relief organization that can distribute funds for natural disaster relief in the country.
Moon Ga-young has consistently participated in charitable efforts through Hope Bridge whenever disasters big and small occur. In particular, she was appointed as a member of the 'Hope Bridge Honors Club,' a group of major donors from Hope Bridge, after donating 20 million won for neighbors affected by the wildfire in March.
Shin Hoon, the Secretary General of Hope Bridge, said, 'We deeply appreciate donor Moon Ga-young for not forgetting to send warm hearts every time a disaster occurs,' and noted, 'Like the donor's warm sharing, Hope Bridge will do its best in its role by the side of the neighbors.'
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association is a disaster relief fundraising organization established in 1961 by national media outlets and social organizations. It carries out various relief activities, including emergency relief, fundraising and distribution of donations during disasters, community recovery, and support for vulnerable groups, leading efforts to quickly provide necessary material resources.
