STAYC announced the return of the summer queen while directly sharing all the killing points of their special single 'I WANT IT.'
STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, Jaei) held a live celebration for the release of the special single 'I WANT IT' on their official YouTube on the afternoon of 23rd, communicating with global fans simultaneously during their comeback.
During the live session, STAYC honestly expressed the passion and confidence they poured into this album. The members described the title track 'I WANT IT' as "a song conveying the message of living true to myself without wavering, even in a daily life without definitive answers," adding that it features "catchy hooks and a cool attitude, perfect for summer." They also demonstrated the point choreography of 'I WANT IT' while leading real-time engagement with fans, saying, "The choreography name has not been determined yet, so we're taking ideas from our fandom, Sweet."
The members personally introduced the included tracks 'BOY' and '반칙 (Honestly).' Sieun, who participated in writing '반칙,' stated, "I wanted to cleverly express the feelings of being pushed away in love," adding, "It's a song that incorporates STAYC's urban sensibilities into a groovy bass and retro mood."
In the album unboxing segment, the physical albums of SUN, BURN, and mini-pack versions reflecting STAYC's unique summer mood were unveiled. Particularly, the mini-pack 'hidden mini card,' which was produced in a limited run of 100 copies, piqued the members' interest as they noted, "I want this too," facilitating a delightful interaction with fans. When asked which member best suits the summer concept, they all recommended each other, highlighting their solid teamwork alongside their cool and hot concept.
In the following "menu spoiler quiz" segment, the members demonstrated their nickname 'spoicy' characteristics. They offered hints to excite anticipation for 'I WANT IT' by revisiting the narrative in the album through consonant quizzes of the lyrics and location quizzes for filming.
In the latter part of the live session, they continued engaging with fans through the 'recipe pick' segment. While taking a walk along the Han River, they recommended songs from the album that are good to listen to, as well as parts of the 'I WANT IT' lyrics that they would like to set as their phone wallpaper, sharing their preferences with fans and suggesting tailored sentiments for Sweet as they prepare for summer.
