'Homes' Yang Se-chan drew attention by citing "the opposite of Ji Seok-jin" as a real estate investment tip.
Broadcast today (24th), MBC's 'Save Me! Homes' (directed by Jeong Da-hi, Son In-ji, Kim Wan-cheol, Heo Ja-yun, hereinafter 'Homes') features broadcaster Ji Seok-jin embarking on a local inspection tour in Suyu-dong, Gangbuk-gu.
This episode is prepared as a 'local inspection-Suyu-dong edition' tour across the country with local residents. In the past, 'Homes' has garnered attention by visiting very special local inspections with natives from various cities. This inspection features broadcaster Ji Seok-jin, who grew up in Suyu-dong, taking his close friends Kim Soo-yong and Yang Se-chan on a local inspection.
The three visit a café located in Gangbuk-gu Suyu-dong. This place draws attention as it is a café converted from where the homeowner lived. Captivated by the old charm-filled garden from the entrance, they marvel at the impressive space, calling it an old wealthy house. When Ji Seok-jin, having discovered a large ginkgo tree, says, "With a size like this, it must be at least 300 years old," Kim Soo-yong wagers, "It's 427 years old." Everyone bursts into laughter at the production team's response, increasing curiosity about what the correct answer might be.
Ji Seok-jin, who introduced himself as a 'real estate expert,' confidently states, "(After looking around the café) the estimate comes out perfectly. Here, it's about 25 million won per pyeong, so the transaction price is 5 to 6 billion won?" surprising everyone. In response, Yang Se-chan jokes, "This guy doesn't know much. I heard that if you invest in real estate the opposite of Ji Seok-jin, you'll succeed," leading Ji Seok-jin to immediately agree, causing laughter.
Ji Seok-jin and Kim Soo-yong remember a comedy skit they did together during their rookie days, admitting that they were cut from the show for not being able to do the skit, drawing attention. Yang Se-chan asks the two to reenact it, and he recalls, "I remember Lee Jae-seok saying, 'Seok-jin can't do skits at all.'
While resting at the café, Ji Seok-jin does not stop chatting. He claims to be someone who has experienced the real estate boom and shares the ups and downs of his real estate journey, from his first newlywed home story in 1999 to missing out on an APT. in Mok-dong to various dramatic experiences, raising anticipation for the live broadcast.
Next, the three head to Seongsan-dong in Mapo-gu, where Ji Seok-jin's first newlywed home is located. Although it's not for sale, it's an inspection to reminisce about the memories of his newlywed home. Upon entering, Ji Seok-jin says, "It has been stylishly remodeled, but the layout is exactly the same as when I lived here. Memories come flooding back."
Having left the inspection behind, Ji Seok-jin summons all his memories of the visit to his newlywed home, and even his close friend Kim Soo-yong seems to be getting tired from his endless talk. When Yang Se-chan, finishing recording, remarks, "There's more talk time than inspection," Ji Seok-jin humorously responds, "This is the first broadcast where I've been told not to talk."
